Outline
VARTECTOR diagnoses the risk of varnish or soot formation with the CIE Δ E and Δ a+b value in ASTM D7843-21, for the potential risk
of varnish or soot in turbine oil and control oil.
The potential danger of varnish in turbine oil warns that problems such as vibration and temperature rise of turbine spindle bearings,
filter clogging, poor temperature control, and degradation of turbine oil may occur.
Function and Features
Unlike the existing portable MPC tester in the market, all processes such as patch production, sample loading,
validation, and testing are automatically performed within 10 seconds.
Patch images, MPC Δ E, ΔL, Δa+b values, and trends for each managed machine
The world's first/only MPC tester for laboratory that meets ASTM D7843-21 for both mineral based turbine oils
and phosphate ester-based oils.
Automatic diagnosis of measured results (Normal a, Normal b, Caution, Warning)
Unlike the existing simple portable MPC Tester, it automatically performs device validation after power on
Automatic self diagnostic function : Perform self-diagnosis of major components such as Spectrophotometer
and Board after power on
Benefits
Varnish mineral based turbine oil and Soot of phosphate ester based control oil can be identified by measuring Δ E, ΔL and Δa+b.
VARTECTOR fully complies with ASTM D7843-21 for both mineral based turbine oil and phosphate ester based control oil
